The Wild Issue - Crow Toes Quarterly Magazine
Excited to announce that my art will be on the cover of Crow Toes Quarterly Magazine! This will be the magazines second year. Here is a note from the author:
One year ago we were a hair's length away from publishing our first new issue of Crow Toes Quarterly Magazine in more than a decade. It was such an emotional and invigorating time in our history. Seeing that first new issue come together and seeing that beautiful and eerie cover by Jessie Dunlop brought tears to our (what we thought were dried up) eyes.
We just wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to all the people who have supported us over the last year and who continue to support us. We are a fully independent magazine produced out of a love of/passion for spooky literature and art. Donations, downloads and subscriptions are what help keep us going. And every dollar that comes in is so greatly appreciated, and goes directly back into paying for the quality content in the magazine and the quality production of the magazine (and yes, a dollar or two might go towards keeping the root beer levels stocked up in the CTQ lunchroom fridge, but that's between you and me).
We've got big plans for our second year back in the dangerous world of children's literature. These plans include getting the magazine into libraries across Canada and onto the shelves of our favourite bookstores. We also have big plans to expand our reviews page on the website and even include reviews of great spooky middle-grade books in our digital versions of the magazine.
This second year will kick off with THE WILD ISSUE released in digital format on April 1st and it will feature another beautiful and eerie cover by Jessie Dunlop. It only seems fitting. The worlds found in her artwork are so very similar to the world CTQ lives in: magical, unsettling, eerie and full of wonder.
Thank you again everyone for being on this ride with us. Support independent content. Talk about and share independent content. Love independent content.
